Meet Annie Chochla

Background and Education

Annie works with individuals, families, and businesses on a range of legal matters, including both litigation and solicitor work. Her practice includes contract and property disputes, estate matters, family law, and employment law. She values taking the time to get to know her clients and understand their circumstances so she can explain their options clearly, help them make informed decisions, and achieve resolutions that best serve their interests.

Annie was called to the British Columbia bar in 2026 and obtained her law degree from the University of Victoria in 2025, spending her final semester on exchange at Victoria University of Wellington’s Faculty of Law in New Zealand. During law school, she researched and wrote about workers’ rights, climate change, and environmental regulation, including through projects with the University of Victoria’s Environmental Law Centre, the Western Forestry Contractors’ Association, and the Worker Solidarity Network.

Before beginning her legal career, Annie spent eight seasons tree planting and working in forestry across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, planting over one million trees. Annie is glad to now be building her practice in the Fraser Valley and looks forward to getting to know the people and communities she serves. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outside, baking, and reading and writing murder mystery stories.
