Meet Brooklynn Malec

Background and Education

Brooklynn is an articled student with Fraserwest Law Group LLP. She is particularly interested in wills, estates, commercial law, and family law. She worked at the firm in the summer of 2023 and is excited to be back. Brooklynn graduated from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law in 2024. During her time there, Brooklynn received the Chris Considine Prize in Evidence Law, worked as a research assistant studying international investment arbitration, and won the Justice Rosalie Silberman Abella Award through the Royal Society of Canada.

Brooklynn is passionate about community service. During law school, she volunteered and worked for Pro Bono Students Canada, served on the UVic Law Admissions Committee, volunteered on a family law help line through Legal Aid BC, and organized a negotiation competition for first year law students.

Brooklynn grew up in Saskatchewan and completed undergraduate studies in Calgary. She enjoys living in the Fraser Valley and is looking forward to meeting and helping more folks in the Chilliwack area.

Outside of work, Brooklynn enjoys hiking, cooking, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.
